American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) & Digestive Disease Week (DDW) - Each year, half of the fellows go to the AASLD conference and the other half attend the DDW conference. The conference cost is covered by the Division and fellows attend the entirety of the respective conferences they attend. The groups alternate each year so that each fellow has the opportunity to attend both events.
Summer Picnic - The GI/Liver division hosts an annual Summer picnic for the Division where faculty and fellows can get to know each other in a more casual setting.
Graduation - Each year, the Division hosts a graduation celebration event for the fellows.
Holiday Celebration - The Division hosts a winter holiday celeration for the fellows, endoscopy suite staff, and nurses to give fellows the opportunity to get to know the people they spend every day with better.
